A personal note from our founder

It started with
my three kids.

Fifteen, twelve and nine. Three different people, with different learning needs. The reason I built Teachnow AI.

Dear fellow parent,

I have three children, aged 15, 12 and 9. They share a home, but they don't share the same learning needs. Being their dad is where the story of Teachnow AI begins.

As a parent, I want each of them to feel understood. I want them to be able to ask a question without embarrassment, take their time with something difficult, and follow their curiosity when they are ready for more. I don't want any of them to measure their ability by how quickly someone else understands.

One family. No single way to learn.

Having children at three different ages makes that deeply personal. An explanation that helps one child isn't automatically the right explanation for another. The pace, the starting point, the kind of encouragement — these all matter.

I founded Teachnow AI because I wanted to build around those differences. I wanted learning to make room for the child in front of it: their questions, their gaps, their interests, and the things they are ready to try next.

My mission is to help a child feel, “I can learn this,” without feeling they have to learn like somebody else.

A father's reason to keep building.

As CTO and founder, I think about what technology can make possible. As their dad, I care about what that means for a child trying to understand something. A little more patience. Another way into an idea. Space to try, get it wrong, and try again.

That is what I want Teachnow AI to offer. Help that meets a learner where they are, while leaving them room to think for themselves. Technology that supports the care parents and teachers already bring to a child's life.

From our family to other families.

What began with my own children grew organically through word of mouth. People shared Teachnow AI with others, and something born out of our family's needs began reaching beyond our home.

That kind of growth means something personal to me. When someone passes Teachnow AI on, they are putting their trust in something I built. I feel a responsibility to keep earning that trust — to keep listening, keep improving, and keep the learner at the centre of the decisions I make.

The mission is still personal.

I want the same thing for the children who find Teachnow AI that I want for my own: the confidence to ask, the support to persist, and the freedom to discover what they are capable of.

My three kids are why I started. Helping more learners feel understood is why I keep going.

Thank you for being part of this story.
