Sign up as a learner

Start here if you are new. Choose who will learn, create the right account, and finish a few short setup steps.

Learner: create your account

Open learner signup. If you are on the sign-in screen, select Sign up.
Select Learner. Select I'm 18+ if you are an adult. If you are 13–17, select I'm 13-17 and use the family instructions for the permission step.
Check that Country is correct, then select Next.

Next, choose Continue with Google, Continue with Meta, or Sign up with Email & Password.

For email signup, enter your email address and a password, then select Create Account. Keep these details: you will use them to return to your learning.

Adult learner: read and give permission

Consent means permission. The screen explains the use of the voice AI tutor and personal information. Read it, tick the box if you agree, and select Continue.

Learner: finish your profile

Choose a display name. This is the name shown in TeachNow. Use a suggested name or type one that is available.
Enter your real age. It must match the age group you chose. If you already shared a birthday, we calculate your age from it instead.
Check the suggested grade, if shown. For school-age learners, TeachNow estimates a grade from age. Change it if needed, including choosing Not in School. Parents and older adults are not asked for a school grade.
Choose whether to personalize now. Select Do this later to finish right away, or Do this now for two optional screens that help Lumi learn about your interests. You can skip either screen and edit these details in Profile later.
If you chose the optional screens, select Save Profile to finish.

Your unfinished profile setup is saved for up to 30 days on this device, separately for each signed-in account. Return with the same account to continue. Permission is checked again; saved answers never replace consent.

In the optional screens, pick interests such as sports, movies, music, or art. Relevant follow-up questions appear only for the interests you choose. You can edit them later under Profile → Personal touches.

Learner: start learning

Follow the course choices on screen. Pick something you want to learn and tell Lumi your goal, such as “help me understand fractions.” Our Start a course guide explains the next steps.

When you return, open Sign in and use the same email or the same Google/Meta account you used to sign up. Open your dashboard to continue.
